Question about the L98

I have a question about the l98 engine:
Will the T5 5 speed transmission bolt right up to the engine like it would to any of the engines.... The reason i ask is because the tech data on thirdgen.org doesn't have a listing for the manual 350.. thanks

The reason it's not listed is because the T5/L98 combo was never mass produced. Evidently the T5 isn't strong enough to handle the torque.

WOM has it that GM did produce a few that way, but I've never seen one documented.

If you're going to do it, go to the transmission board and do a few searches. It's not much harder to install a T56 instead, and they're MUCH stronger.

and it's a 6 speed.

in case you don't know what a t-56 is.
