Eddie,

Remove the plugs, fog the cylinders with oil, then hand crank the engine to distribute the oil on the cylinder walls. Drain the oil pan and remove the filter to remove any acidic oil that may have formed while running. Fill with fresh oil if you desire, or tape a note to it warning of an empty sump. Plug all openings, cover the lifter valley with poster board or heavy craft paper. Tape the intake and exhaust ports with 2" duct tape. Slip a plastic trash bag over the entire engine and seal it. If you have some camphor blocks or small dessicant bags, toss a couple in the bage before sealing.

The Eastwood Company makes these dessicant capsules that screw into your spark plug holes, keeping moisture out of the cylinders. I forget how much they are, they're in their normal catalog but they might be listed on their website too. The website's at http://www.eastwoodcompany.com , they also have a phone # on there if you want to call & ask them.
