A/C conversion question
I bought the conversion from autozone but my high pressure fitting is screwed up and leaks out. Now the kit says you don't need it, the fitting is just there to prevent cross contamination. Now how much pressure is an A/C system usually and how much refrigerant do i put in the kit says 85 percent of R-12 but i'm not sure how much R-12 is used in a camaro. Thanks.

To get the correct head pressure you do need the high side fitting but............................................................................................................................................................................................................
Since your not using real guages It doesent really matter. Use 2 1/2 cans of R-134a 1, 8 oz oil charge or 2 cans of 12 oz R-134a and a can 12 oz oil/conditioner and stop leak. That may put you a tad over either way if you get all the oil/freon in but most likely you wont either way its fine.
