Car: 1986 Firebird
Axle/Gears: 9" Moser with 3.85
Radiator

I am just wondering on my rad which was from an 83 Trans AM L69 5 speed there is a 3 on the left side of it and i was just wondering if this meant it was a 3 core or not any help?

I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Count the cores and see how many there are.

I would not swap a 20-year-old radiator into a car I had to depend on, if I could help it.

The later aluminum/plastic ones cool better and weigh many pounds less.
