Is burning oil a major problem?
I burn oil, not a lot just at start up. I've wanted to run nos for a long time, but i always have been reluctant because i burn oil. Is it ok to be burning oil and run nos? I want to do it, i just dont want to go buyany engine 5 mins later after squeezing.
Thanks

I'm no NOS expert, but if your only burn oil at startup, it is the valve guides that are leaking. I don't believe this will make any differance at all with NOS.

Because oil burns differently than gasoline, this is one of the possible reasons why a person my have knock occurring.
With NOS (or a power-adder), detonation is a very serious concern. Oil burning just increases this problem and increases the risk of detonation.
