Lost fuel pump and injector pulse, still have spark and starter.

As the subject says, when to start my car (after sitting ~1 hr) and it just cranked, but wouldn't fire. The car is an '89 GTA with a 730 swap from MAF. It has been running fine for the last 6+ months with the 730 ECM. The car sometimes has trouble idling, but I considered it a tuning issue, although lack of idling is somewhat intermittent, hot or cold. Anyways....

Has spark.
Jumped fuel pump to pressurize fuel rail. (i.e. fuel pump is good)
Injector fuses are good.
Injectors won't fire.
Runs on starter fluid.
Cranks like a champ and builds 30 psi oil pressure.

Replaced ignition module, fuel pump relay, and finally 730 ECM (only $65 at autozone) today.

Couldn't find voltage at the Red wire at fuel pump relay, couldn't interface with ECM using actron scan tool (not uncommon for me).
I jumped the fuel pump straight from the battery lead wire.

I also noticed that the CEL doesn't seem to flash breifly like a normal start up. Since it cranks I assume VATS is not an issue.

My plan now is to check the reference wire from the ign. module and to check the resistance in the injectors.

What's left besides injectors? Fuseable link? Location? I'll check the ones near the starter motor.

Forgot to add that I installed a crane HI-6 ignition box ~ 2 weeks, I doubt it's related, but should be included. I'll probably try removing it if I can't find a bad injector tomorrow.

There are two fuses mounted on the frame near one of the battery shelves, probably right next to your battery. They look just like regular ECM weatherpack connectors, except they are bolted to the frame and don't connect to anything. The one for the ECM/fuel pump is blown most likely, or you didn't replace it when you swapped in the 730 ECM.

If it's that huge thing that looks kinda like a relay, but in a oval shape, I'll try and replace that or make sure thats the right things.

Thanks

Got it fixed. $110 in parts and a 17 cent fuse was the problem.

I got thrown off by a mis-labled picture of probably the headlight motor relay on the pass. fender. Didn't realize that the fuse in a weather pack connector was just a regular fuse in a weather pack connector. I was expecting something a little more extravagant. Also after ~10th or so search, I saw a picture of the correct fuse/weatherpack connector.

Oh well, got a spare relay, ignition module and new ECM out of it. This may have been the first time a mechanic could've saved me some $$. I guess it's true as you get closer to graduating, you get closer to becoming stupid.
