idle fluctuation/stall

hey all, have a slight problem, i used to have an interm. high idle with my 90 tpi 305, could drive around all day then all of a sudden idle at 1800 at a stop sign, now i know i should have fixed this before i put the GEN7 on but i didn't know i think i'm fitting an engine problem and not a gen7 problem, after i put it on the car started on the first shot(boy was i happy!!!) ran fine a bit rich, drove the car around about 20 miles back roads, then took it on the highway about 40 miles got where i was going STALLS. now she surges when she warms up a slow(every 2 seconds) up and down tac. fluctuation of about 100-150 rpm but it's consistant. my manifold pressure seems to drop before the spark and iac try to compansate for it. anyone ever have this problem? i replaced my wires about 2 months ago and checked them i think there still good but i know they can arc through quickly. cap was changed before. i unplug the iac and it still flucts. i went through 4 cans of brakeclean/carb cleaner looking for intake leaks-couldnt' really pinpoint much(sometimes it kinda help but its interm. anyway so i can't be sure) i think it may be a intake man leak-its leakin coolant and oil so why not VACUUM right?
thanks for reading this
