Speedometer and shift light not working

My speedometer just suddenly stopped working on my 91 z28, it has a t-56 tranny and i dont know what's going on? I really need to get this fixed cause i havent been able to know how fast im going down the road, and its not like i need the shift light but it would be cool to have it functioning!!Not Good. Tip????

Have you checked the wiring from the ECM to the instrument cluster? Have you checked the VSS connection and wiring? Just a couple of thoughts!!!!!!!!!!

I've checked connections to the instrument cluster but everything looks good??? Don't know where the connections to the tranny are located, so I haven't checked those.
