GM Tools alternative part numbers?

I am looking for tools j-35118-2 and J-35118-5. I called up Kent Moore tools, the first tool dealer I could find that had GM tool numbers listed since dealers wont sell tools, they had 4 of the 6 tools I needed, but these 2 were discontinued. I was wondering if any GM techs out there knew if there were updated tool numbers, or if its just that, discontinued, and I'll have to use a "universal" jig, or the old take the rear apart, add/subtract a shim, reassemble, etc. I realize I will still have to do this somewhat, but I figured the tools would help me get a lot closer to exact, a lot faster.

If you have any info, please post
Thanks
Corry

J-35118-2 is a guage plate
J-35118-5 is a spacer

Both are mentioned in the service manual for setting up the final drive.

EDIT: I did a search on all mentioned tool providers and found nothing. Still looking for more ideas.
