350 combo, need some opinions
hi,
this winter I will build up a 350 and maybe you've got some tips or comments about that:
350 (roller block)
brodix -8 heads or even better ported 220 afr's
2.02/1.60 valves
weiand 7275 intake
750 holley double pumper with mech. secondary
comp cams, anything between the XR282HR and the XR294HR, what would you suggest?
Hooker 2055 headers
3" exhaust
I will stick with a high flow cat, cause it would be too loud for germany...the cops would kill me (and maybe my neighbours)!!
so, what would you say, will that work, some hp, 1/4mile-suggestions...
greetings

Most people say that the AFR 220`s are more suited for engines over 400cid. So I would probably go with the AFR 190`s.I would
also suggest an RPM airgap intake and the smaller of the two cams. With good gears and traction high 12`s should be possible.
I would think about 425gross hp,350net hp,300rwhp.

If you are going to use manual secondaries (ie. double pumper) I'd stick with a little smaller carb, like a 650. 750 is too much if its got manual secodnaries. For vacuum secondaries, it would be fine though.
