Lug Nuts Please HELP

I bought a GTA and did not notice that the owner did not give me the special wrench to take off the theft proof lug nuts. Do any one know how to break them off. Is there such a tool out there that will crack them or any other little secerts to goet them off. I got a socket that snugly fit and bang it on with a hammer but no luck. Please help.

I had the same problem and found the answer in the arcives using lug nut as the search word if I am unclear. But basically I just used a deep socket that barly wouldn't fit over the lug nut and hammered it on and used a 1/2 inch wrench to turn them off. Also tightening the other 4 lugs will help to loosen the one locking lug.

I'd take it to a dealership and see if they could match them.

I have the lug key, but remember when you do get them off and you do purchase new lugs you'll have to order them from a dealership because of the lug caps the GTA has the lugs for the gta have threads on the top of the lug for the caps to go on....

that's my personal experience

If it's really tight/frozen, have a shop weld nut on it and unscrew it. Napa, and other stores, carry the external thread lug nuts. As well as the caps.
