Camaro got alot of work today

Man, I just did a ton of stuff to the Camaro today..

- Made a new key (Old one was worn and I was getting VATS errors)
- Replaced hood latch
- Aligned hood (It was off for some reason, way better now)
- Replaced fuel filter (Oh man, it was CLOGGED!, the car runs way better after that)
- Added 1pt Lucas Transmission fix (Was low on fluid, and I had some around, actually made a difference too)
- Adjusted detent cable
- Replaced thermostat (was stuck open), 180 degree
- Replaced PCV valve
- Replaced breather filter
- Checked shifter cable (bitch won't go into park, hasn't for years )
- Checked speedo cable @ transmission (looked ok to me) (speedo not working)
- Fixed white guage covers (they were out of place)

I am getting some random error codes too. CTS too low (code 15). I didn't find out what code that was until just a few minutes ago. It was so random and when I tried to pull codes, it was always off. This could be why the car has been overheating. It goes away when the AC is on. Obviously the fan wasn't being turned on at the right temperature becuase the CTS is probabally bad. When you turn the AC on, the fan comes on too, which is why it helped the overheating problem.

Oh, and those new keys from GM.. DAMN! Expensive, $23 bucks!!

I still have some things to do, like why is the speedo not working. I already replaced the cluster, and that didn't fix it like the last time my speedo went out. I drove around without the cluster and the speedo cable physically isn't turning. The only real way I can check it is to pull the transmission tailshaft off and check the gears I guess. Or at least try hand spinning it to see if the cable itself is broke somewhere.

For the last 3 years or so, I haven't been driving it. WOMEN have been driving it. First my sister for over a year, and it sat for 8 months, now my roomate is driving it. I guess I am nice like that. Things break and its constant upkeep though. I finally had a chance to do some work to it today, I am glad I did.
