? about manuals
i guess the helms manual is the best for working on our cars? is that the same as the gm service manual, more or less, and does it show specific detail to the specific year of car? and where would be the best place to acquire one? thanks...

The Helm manual is the GM service manual. Helm is the publisher of GM's and a few other manufacturer's manuals. They're specific to the year, make and model of the car.

I highley recommend getting the Helm Inc manual... It is very thorough and clear and has step by step procedures to do anything on the car as well as any diagnostic work too. If there is anything you buy for your car, it should be this manual.
