To any of you who remember my "no start after header install" questions/problems....
IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!! IT'S ALIVE!!!!!
It took 10 months but I've finally got my car running again.... and after all the headaches replacing parts and testing other parts, it turned out to be the ECM. My fuel pressure was bleeding out of my system and soon as it beacme pressurized, and apparently the ECm was holding the injectors open. Popped in a new ECM this morning, tunred the key, fuel pressure rose and held steady! Then I started it and it fired right up!! Ran extrememly smooth, especially considering it's been sitting for nearly a full year and the major work the I did on it while it was sitting. I was expecting there to be some kinks that needed to be ironed out before I could really enjoy it, but no! It runs great, no SES light, no rough idle, just a couple of rattles that need chased down.
Thanks to all those who helped out with all my questions and who tried to guide me through the process. It just sucks that I get it running again right as the weather is going down hill again, it'll soon be time to store the car again.
I took the car out on the highway for it's maiden run fully inteding to baby it until I knew for sure everything was okay, but that accelerator pedal just kept itching my foot, so I just had to stomp it once, and all I have to say is: DAMN!!! Those headers really help upper rpm horsepower!! Between the headers, the injectors, and the intake porting work, this car absolutely flies now!! I know it feels faster than it really is right now because I've been driving nothing but my daily driver 2.0 liter 1991 Camry for 10 months, but DAMN it's fast!! I had forgetton how much fun it is to drive our cars.
Thanks again,
Dave M
88 GTA that's FINALLY RUNNING AGAIN!!!

Congrats on a success story! Glad to hear you figured out the problem and are enjoying your car even if the season is ending. You got the whole winter to detail everything and troubleshoot any problems. I'm really amazed it was the ECM and not bad injectors. What a T/S'ing nightmare!
