Crate engine harmonic balancer install

How do you keep the crank from turning when you torque the balancer bolt on an engine that's still on the engine stand?

I put a flexplate on the back of the crank and wedge a screwdriver between the teeth of the flexplate and one of the legs of the engine stand.

I hope you're not trying to use the balancer bolt to install the balancer.
