Can I get some tech help with 1990 S-10?
I have a 90 s-10 with a 4.3l auto. I have had some weird wiring issues for about 2 months now. I would blow my "ignition/gauge" fuze when anything on pass door is operated, which leads me to a short there somewhere. Car runs till alt cant charge enough and battery dies. But, today I encountered that there is a new problem. I am experiencing the stalling, my battery light flashed on/off but it was dark and couldnt tell what voltage I was at but I heard a siren sound( kinda like an ambulance) coming from my car and i smelled burnt wires
Car stalled out but I barely got it into my parking spot after trying to start it and move it 10 times cause it was trying to stall so bad.
Its dark out so cant see, just lookin for a good place to start out and see the problem
any ideas?
Thanks!

well i would start by pulling apart the center consol and also the passenger side door panel.. you have a a live wire toughing another wire or somethin metal.. causing like you said.. a short. i would have guess bad ground at first but you said you smell burnt wires.. and the could be real serious if it gets into the main harness.. electrical is pretty serious..
do you have any problems with starting the car.. like is the battery dead if let sitting for a while?
