No start problem
I have an stock 89 formula 350. It's been sitting for 5 years. No prep. PO just parked it one day. I am trying to restore this car, and the first thing I want to do is get it the engine running. It has 12K on an engine and trans. rebuild.
The car won't start after I have drained all the old gas, replaced the bad fuel pump, filter, and strainer. I have spark, and the fuel pump primes for 2 seconds after I turn the key to run. Then when I crank the engine it cranks, but will not run. The fuel pump continues to run for 15 seconds or so after I release the key. While this is happening I can hear a squirting noise under the hood on the engine. How can I check for bad or stuck fuel injectors? If I hook a FP gauge up what should I be looking for? Lastlt where can I get a noid light to check if the injectors are getting the voltage signal?
Thanks.
