FUEL INJECTION TO CARB CONVERSION
What would it take to convert a 1988 fuel injected TPI to a carb setup? I'm tired of all the sensors and headaches! My main concern is for the speedo, and factory gauges to work properly. What do I need to keep? And what can I get rid of?

There's a tech article on the topic linked from the thirdgen.org homepage.
Sensors go to the computer. Gauges have sending units. Disabling the computer (which, for the record, is illegal) will not affect the gauges.

Re: FUEL INJECTION TO CARB CONVERSION
My car has the factory digital dash. So the dash should work, with the computer disconnected.

I haven't personally dealt with the digital dash, but from what I understand from this Board, the ECM and digital dash don't have anything to do with each other.
