| Headers, Exhaust for more top end Okay, so I have my formerly 305 HO (L69) engine in my T/A. I have had head work done, including a 1.94 Intake valve and roller rockers. I have a slightly hotter than stock cam, edelbrock EPS performer intake, edelbrock 1406 600cfm carb, and a few other little things. Well, the car, pretty much as intended, feels like a torque monster. However, unfortunately, I'm still running the stock exhaust manifolds and y-pipe to a high flow cat and 3-inch system from there back. I'm going to be putting on a set of headers here soon and am wondering what this should do for my top end (hp). I think it should really make a difference considering the super awesome stock manifolds GM used to use. Finally, should I ditch the cat, or stick with the hi-flow? Let me know what everyone thinks.
