Air Conditioning / Freeze 12

Is there anyone who has heard about or better yet used Freeze 12 the r12 replacement sold to the public at places like Walmart or Kragen Auto Parts. Is there a section for air cond. on third gen, thanks, George.

THEY should sell conversion kit to covert it to r12 it comes with differant fittings so you can connect gauges to it I did it tomy 91 z28. hope this helps.

Sorry about previous answer I was talking about converting to r134 never seen freeze 12 epa outlawed r12 said it was damaging ozone only certified mechanics supposed to have it. Sorry about the mistake.

I have used and still have some freeze 12. It works fine, just make sure your a/c system has no leaks, correct amount of oil, and completly evacuated for it work correctly. You would still do the same things for a conversion to R134 execpt you would need to replace all of your soft lines and recomend replacing the condensor for better heat transfer.
