starter problems after engine swap need over drive starter

i got a 73 sbc 350, in a 89 camaro, with a 700r4 trans, my problem is that the starter doesnt line up like a standard 350 starter only one hole bolts up i need one that is staggard holes does anyone know what im talking about? the regular starter doesnt touch the fly wheel its to short?

So buy the correct starter for it. Go to Advance or Auto Zone and tell them you need the starter for a 73 small block they should be able to help you out

i did they gave me the wrong one twice i dont know starter lingo- on how to describe what i want

Take your starter in when you go and make them match it up. Thats what I'd do.
