What bolt holes do you use when installing a new engine? When I pulled it, I attached chains to the heads. However, my new heads are AFR's and I cannot stomach the thought of lifting my engine and installing it by using my heads.
Another option would be to remove carb and build/make a plate that attaches to the intake where the carb goes that has provisions for lifting the motor........but this can cause intake manifold leaks......so I would temporarily bolt up the manifold WITHOUT GASKETS, install the motor, then remove the manifold and reinstall to specs with gaskets and such.....
Okay, so it sounds like I need to use the exact same spots for when I pulled it. Will this still be okay if I have the tranny attached when I put in th engine?
