| latest mystery noise....
| so everything pretty much runs great now. besides the header leak which im still battling and the leaky carb which is going to be rebuilt soon. this newest noise is hard to pinpoint and discribe. kinda sounds like a grinding but i get a vibration as well. feels like the tranny area. only happens every once in a while and its hardly audible at times. could this be a sign of pending doom to my 700r4? how could a find out for sure? | | |

1987 Trans am. 5.7 bored .060 over, 600 cfm holly carb, edelbrok preformer intake, hooker headers, comp cam dur 262/270 lift 464/470 lobe seperation 114*, 700r4 tranny, stock rear end, ws6 suspension, next mods to come: t56 trans, posi rear end with a 3.73. then the stroker kit. |
