Re: computer compatible?

depends if you would want to reprogram your prom, if you did so you would be able to get away with a larger cam, but if you left the computer the way it is now you cant go much bigger with out running into problems, i put a little bit bigger cam in my car witch was tpi and it never seemed to run quite right

Re: computer compatible?

I am going to reprogram the prom. I was just searching some threads and people are saying that a tpi is computer controlled and needs a computer compatible camshaft. I was just wondering if thats true or can I put any roller cam i want in it computer compatible or not as long as i reprogram the prom?

Re: computer compatible?

you might have to talk to some one who can reprogram proms, but as far as i know you can put any size you want in as long as you reprogram it
