crank, no start no spark
well i finishes installing the dominator ecu into my 92 trans am and i dont get any spark. i have been going thru all the troubleshooting but cant find the problem. i am getting all the correct voltage at the ign wires while on run and while cranking. but i dont get any spark until i unplug the four pin connector on the distributor. i checked the dist and the coil for proper ohm readings and they are fine. went over all the wiring from holleys harness and are hooked up as instructed. could this be a vats problem? the stock computer is no longer in the car along with any wires i did not need anymore. i have been talking with the guys at moore racecraft but just cant figure this out i would appreciafe any ideas thanks

Pick-up Line
Replace the pick-up coil in the distributor.

Re: Pick-up Line
I tested the distributor and all of the readings are with in the specs. I did the ohm test out of the book. Also tested the coil. Which I replaced because it was cheap. I'm using an MSD 8366 dist. However when the black connector is hooked up to the coil I don't get any voltage coming out of the tach side which If I understook the directions on testing the coil, that I should be getting voltage there when the key is on. Brand new coil tho. And I could not disconnect the pick up coil from the module in the dist because the wires are soldered on there. Would that effect the test?

Re: crank, no start no spark
If your not getting spark but your getting 12v while key is on 99% of the time its either the ignition module or the pickup coil. Also I don't think its vats as your starter is cranking and vats disables the starter
