wanting thoughts....

first of all hello everyone, or is it just u? now got problem I can fix but want to hear some thoughts..... background me..... auto technician for more than 15 years...... car 1991 chevy camaro rs (well at one time) now its a 350 shortblck 3970010 from 69 to 79 chevy...... heads are 97 vortecs maybe 98 cant remember same either way, stroked to 383, (kit) elderbrock intake, edelbrock carb 600cfm, NO I will not switch to holley...... no hating though just like edels.... hedman shorty exhaust msd ingition and msd pro billet dizzy with mechanical advance, has lunati 290/300 voddoo cam everything is new... minus dizzy and carb they about 2 years old..... now msd streetfire wires NGK Q_power plugs ( what I suspect is problem) or at least part of it... problem running rich...... at about 35 it vibrates till about 45 unless i give it good throttle and that aint good at 35 to 45 itll break tires loose, I know im running rich I want to hear about what you think about the plugs... any suggestions for new plugs? I also plan to adjust carb.....

I use bosch platinum 4's. Ive got a 70s block stroked with 90s vortech heads too. The plugs throw plenty of spark, but a spark plug change requires pulling the headers for clearance. Ive heard a lot of people running accel shorty plugs for the good clearance, but I dont know how they work performance wise.

thanx for your imput. and with a 5/8 sparkplug socket and a 19 wrench i can get all me plugs from up top in about 15 mins......good to see more old blocks too

With mine, I cant even get my socket on half the plugs without moving the headers.

Off topic, but your carb's too small, get an Edelbrock 750.

I like my low end power, a smaller cfm gives better results down in the lower rpms, where a bigger cfm gives better at higher rpms, carb is perfect for me, anybody know the accel plugs i can use in the vortechs?
