1982 Firebird 4cyl Fuel Injection Bad idle?
I just bouth this car for 500 bucks. Finally registered it and I am going to start driving to work in this car (30 MPG!) but it seems to idle rough and wants to die sometimes when I change gears or even turn on lights.
I am wanting to know what all should I do to repair this engine and other typical things I should do to just help the overall performance of the car.
I am planning on:
Replacing Spark Plugs
Replacing Wires
Replacing Distributer cap and rotar clip
Cleaning throttle body
New air filter
Oil change (dunno when last one was done)
What else should I do that isn't to expensive but may help the response and power of the engine and create a smoother running car? Thanks!

Change/check all the vacuum lines. If they are original, they are sure to be dryrotted and cracked.

Thanks for the tip, when you replace vacuum lines do you just go and buy like a certain amount of feet and then start cutting and replacing that way?
