when ur running on less pistons do you just buy new ones and install them or does it require more work in the block

Re: fried pistons?

To answer the question - you should replace them all as a set, and to do it properly requires machinework on the block to make the rings seat properly.

Why do you think you have a 'fried' piston? Whats going on?

Re: fried pistons?

why not do a compression test?

and if you change one piston you have to change them all... the difference in a fraction of weight will cause horrible vibration.
