Third gen Oil pan specs, stock vs aftermarket

I am building an oilpan for my Vortec 4200 swap and I am torn on how deep to make the rear sump. I am keeping ground clearance in mind mainly.. I have a stock camaro v8 oilpan to hold over the k member and eyeball but with no engine weight in the bay, I can't eyeball the actual ground clearance.. Can anyone measure their aftermarket pans sump depth vs a stock pan? Like pan rail to bottom of sump.. I sold my canton pan but that depth is ideal I guess. Thanks for any info!!!
