Washer Pump

Hi All,
Been having issues with my washer pump. When I turn it on,I could hear it
working, but no fluid would come out. This morning I took the hose off the fluid tank and attached a funnel to it and filled it with fluid.Tried again, and fluid pumps out onto my windshield.Put hose back onto tank, and same problem arises.Anyone have any ideas what is going on? I removed filter from tank and cleaned it out.Anyone have any other ideas what could be causing this problem?

Re: Washer Pump

I had the same exact problem for a while. I worked at an auto parts store so I even tried a new pump because I thought the old one might have worn out. Nope same issue.

I replaced the hoses with new ones since they were a little worn and dry. I even shortened them as much as I could. Works like a charm now. Start with your hoses then move on to the pump.
