5.7 iroc missing bucking pinging at part throttle (video attached)
i have a 87 iroc with a 350 tpi. it is totally stock minus the catback exhaust and descreened maf.
even before i modded the maf, at part throttle trying to just maintain a speed (i.e. 50 mph) the car bucks and misses like something is wrong with the ignition (tach jumps etc).
the second you go past say 1/8 throttle it smooths out perfectly and accelerates quickly. the throttle is like a lite switch, either your on it and you gotta keep letting off and slowing down like 10 mph then on it again, or you try to maintain and it starts running like sh**.
i replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, o2 sensor, coolant temp sensor, and set base timing at *6 like the emissions label says and it still does it. the car jumps all over if your slowly pulling out of a parking spot or backing up, and it almost stalls if when its doing it you lift off the throttle quick.
also, tps voltage at idle is .51 and ramps up and down smoothly. i have no codes...im stumped. watch my tach in the video. about a minute and a half in i get on the road and you can see the tach bouncing around trying to maintain 25 mph. i can get on it a little more and it smooths out but accelerates up quick to like 30 or 35, at a quarter throttle! please help

run the car for a few mins and while its running feel the ground wires and see if its a bad ground, has bad ground written all over it

theres a vid for it sorry its kinda long at idle outside you can hear a random miss.
i just put in a cs144 alternator with a 2 gauge driver side head to fender ground. a 2 gauge battery to fender ground, and a 2 gauge alternator bracket to fender ground. ground strap at back of passengers side head is stock braided crap but its not broken. it only does this at really barely any throttle being applied, the second i push it down more it smooths out and accelerates.
should i put a ground from ignition coil heatsink to firewall?
also, my car seems to run rich all the time. it always smells like raw fuel when just idling

off the top of my head i think 32 is egr, pull and clean the egr it may be sticking, and 13 is o2 sensor,it can also trip the o2 because the egr isnt resirculating the exhaust and re burning it

thanks man....im gonna say screw all emissions and get a pcmforless chip. i think its a combination of the two. the wierd thing is the cel comes on at bout 50 mph stays lit for 5 minutes then shuts off....but it stores the o2 code after every warmed up drive. way more than it throws the egr code which is only at cold startup......
also it does it at any speed with barely any throttle. i could care less about the codes being thrown...im tired of it bucking and missing because i dont want something else to break (i.e. bent rods or something)

egr is just shot, and i say screw emissions to,if ur timing is really spot on and your ignition system is up to par,its amazing and eazy
