Really need any tips on this?

I dont know if this is the right place to post this?


I need help finding a hole along the fire wall i put my coil and tubing for my gauge pod(water temp and oil pressure).

Ive been taking my dash apart but cant seem to find anything cant find a hole on the engine bay side

should i drill?

I found a spot for my oil pressure gauge on the firewall right below the steering shaft and to the left a little bit. It's got a rubber grommet and a wire harness running through it. It's pretty tight so I would suggest running a coat hanger through it so you can slide the tubes through for the gauges. Just be careful you don't catch the wire harness with the end of the coat hanger. It comes into the inside under the carpet right behind the brake pedal I believe, or between the two pedals. If you don't like that spot, you'll have to drill because I searched high and low on mine and that was the best place I could find and I didn't want to drill.

Thanks I just went out to the garage to take a look and found nothing maybe its my model theres no hole i will continue searching but thanky ou again

Hmm, did you look from the inside or the outside? It's easier to find from the inside, but hey, knowing GM they probably only used that hole on certain years.

I just spent almost two hours searching for something haha im gonna drill tomorrow hopefully by then someone can give some further advice
