coil in cap

I have a 86 camaro 305 engine no spark module checks ok but I put in a new one anyway as instructed by ASE doc my b- to b+ has 0.0 ohms should be at least .3 to 1.0 right? My center button to b- checks 14.78 should check atleast 20.0 ohms right? These are being checked on the 20k spot on my meter too, and what does infinite mean on my meter? 1.0?thanks.

Other way round, 0 ohms means a short circuit.

Re: coil in cap

Does your '86 305 have a carbed engine? Does it have an HEI distributor w/ a 7 pin module? Then check out Accel 35363 control module, MSD 8225 HEI coil, and MSD 8412 low resistance bushing as well.
