Oil Leak.. Need Help ASAP
I own a 92 camaro rs. Its got the 305 in it with tbi. A couple of days ago i noticed an oil leak. It only seems to happen right after i run the car. It is dripping in multiple spots but not directly under the engine block. It starts around the oil pan area and continues back in a couple other spots... please help.. I'm at a loss.

Down the right-hand side, low?
Did you hack the smog pump off of it a couple of days ago?

On the driver sideish. But right in the middle of the car. The only thing I've done recently is getting it diagnosed at a dealership. do you think the hydraulic lifts they use could have damaged it?

We will need to get it up in the air and take a look. A lot of people do not know how to hoist these cars up. Do it soon so the shop were you took it still remembers working on it.

Could your valve cover be leaking? sometimes they are tricky to trouble shoot.

Re: Oil Leak.. Need Help ASAP
it can be your distributor, oil sending unit at the back, rear main seal etc, oil gets on a torque converter (assume u got auto trans) and gets everywhere, plus while driving oil gets moved around by the wind.
Wipe everything down, hoist the car, start the car and get under it, look for leaks. I had the same problem, oil was everywhere and I did that, end up being the rear of the intake manifold leak.

Re: Oil Leak.. Need Help ASAP
I had a bad oil leak that I could not find. I ended up pulling the motor and replaced all of the gaskets. It was a chore, but I'm glad I did it because I fixed all vacuum leaks and got my cruise control back, and my environmental controls work properly now(instead of just blowing through the defrost vents). It ended up costing around $200, but that was because I did it myself and bought a gasket kit plus replaced a few sensors.
