Fuel Eco?
I own a 1984 Z28 with the 5.0l H.O. and its worse on gas the my 02 Silverado..
It burns $45 in a 45min time period, all highway, and kept in overdrive at low idles. I replaced the air filter, and cleaner all the plugs and its still terrible on gas. I don't think it should be this bad, can anyone give me any suggestions on how to fix it? I was thinking of replacing the computer controller carb for a non computer 1970s qudra.

Re: Fuel Eco?
That computer control is why the L69 / T5 / 3.73 combo was EPA-rated to get 27 MPG. Fix it rather than fighting it.
