LS6 Spring Vortec Head Install

Decided to install new LS6 valve springs in my machined vortec heads. Heads were bought from Pace Performance, which were good for .550 lift, but the springs were old GM dual 330585. Used 787-16 Comp Cam retainers.

Measured Installed LS6 Spring Height: 1.73"
Closed Seat Pressure: 90lbs + (1.8-1.73)inch x 375lbs/inch = 116lbs
Coil Bind Lift: 1.73" - 1.085" = .645"
Retainer to Seal distance: .83
Max cam lift: .645" - .05 margin = .595"

I am installing the Lunati 20080130 Cam, LT4 Hot Cam clone, with .503 and 1.6 Pro Magnum rockers, giving .536 max lift.

Looks like I should have plenty of clearance. Did I miss anything? Is the installed height of the springs ok?

I haven't had my coffee yet so I'm not looking at the math.
Make sure you measure everything on all 16 valves. Also make sure the pushrod holes in the head have clearance.
Here goes a visual install that might help you out.
