84 Trans Am restoration in UK.
Hi all.
I am just starting a 1984 trans Am restoration in the UK. And have questions.....
It has the L69 HO 305 but has a quadrajet that is not computer controlled like my old 86 Camaro used to be. But it has a MAP sensor on the firewall that is wired but has no vacuum pipe going to it, and no signs of one anywhere. Is this normal?
But my main question involves the coolant temp sensor on the top of the thermostat housing.
Is it the one for the PCM?
Is it easily obtained along with the pigtail?
Thanks.
Andy.
