That is the first time I heard a girl talk Sh$T about beating a Camaro. Even though my car is not in a great condition right now, not 1 person who saw my car said they didn't think it was kind of cool.
Unless this girl has some trick up her sleeve, you should be able to take her, even despite the 305 TBI. You got the torque advantage.
If anything, the new beetle is ugly. I give way more respect to the old beetle, even though it is much slower.

I remember one time I was in this lameass chatroom and a chick saw a pic of my car. She said it looked so "eighties". lol. Um gee I dunno maybe that's cuz the body style was created IN the 80s?? :sillylol:

i should be racing her today or tommorow, but shes acting weird, i asked her to race yesterday and she didnt say anything to me, she acted like she didnt hear me and walked away. but in english class she said. " sure, ill race you tommorow" then she laughed and walked away. Maybe she's scared, lol

I would say give her a head start and then smoke her but I dont know if that is realistic. For the most part my 92 RS is stock even though it does not look like it and I dont know if they have that much power to give another car a head start and still smoke them. I am not to familiar with those Roach cars so I could be wrong.

You might be right? The only thing that pops into my head is that the Beetles are light and might be geared really good.

If you have even an ounce of doubt in your head DO NOT give her a head start. The most embarrasing thing ever is giving someone a head start because you think you can win and then you have to play the catch up game. You will most likely beat her, but if you do give her a head start and you lose just image what kind of a rep your car will get at school.
Just remember, because you are racing someone you go to school with people at school will hear about it. And you have a reputation to uphold if people think you car is fast, she doesn't have a fast car reputation. No one thinks a 16 year old girl with a beetle is fast, so she really has no fast car rep. If she wins no one will really care but they will think your car sucks, if you win no one will think anything of it because its a sixteen year old driving a beetle. Your the only one with anything to lose in this race.

Lol. I say don't give her any kind of advantage at all. Even if you can beat her easily, don't even toy with her by letting of the throttle the lightes bit. Make her and her beetle look bad and put her in her place.
SkyIroc is right because you have everything to loose, she doesn't except a look of emabarrasement when you beat her, which I hope you do. If you loose, I don't know what to tell you.

hey guys, i just raced the girl on my way home from school at like 2:30, we raced from a stop and i just kept it in drive, before i was out of first gear i had pulled a car and at the end of the race(about 1/8 of a mile, I had pulled, between 4-5 cars on her, She must have felt pretty stupid afterwards cause she said "Damn, i knew i would lose" and i cant race the s-10 now cause her brother totalled it.

the only sports car I can think of mazda made in the 80's would be a rx7
that IS a sports car
but any other car I can think of mazda made for the 80's would be something else
