Some Good Races

Hi guys and gals,
Just wanted to share some of my best and most unforgiving street races I had.

One night while cruising around on one big avenue here on Puerto Rico, I was going to pass this guy in a Honda CBR 600cc bike at about 40 mph. I was not into racing that night, but apparently the guy didn't want to allow any car to pass him and leave him behind. So the guy started accelerating his bike as I tried to pass him unaware of the of the situation. As the undeclared race was going on, we both got injected with adrenaline and started to push more and more the gas pedal with the rpms climbing rapidly, until suddenly I squeezed the pedal all the way down until it hit the firewall and the guy almost rips apart his handle bar as he also put down the best of him. We where going fast, I mean really fast, over a 140mph. I won that match by a car lenght.
On the next stop light I knew I was in deep trouble, this guy was pist and in a much faster accelerating vehicle than I was, I didnt have my slicks on and the pavement was no good. I also knew that I didnt have the roll start advantage like in the other run, but the guy deserves the rematch and he was already reving up his bike announcing that he was going to GO on green. So I put my car on second gear in a desperate action to gain some traction at the launch. He also did his trick, he placed his chest on top of the handle bar, I mean he was determined to crush me!! And when the green came out all I saw was slingshoted bike as I burned my rubbers on the street. I lost that one by..... forget it, lots of cars lenght. I knew I couldnt race him at dead stop start, but he also learned that he better think twice next time a car is going to pass him by

Another cool story also involved a bike, but this time is was larger 900cc CBR. I was entering the expressway when I got cought behind this person driving at slow and dangerous speeds, so I down shift onto 3rd and push about 1/2 the gas pedal. The car rapidly boosted and I passed the turtle driving person. At that very same moment a guy on his bike was passing on the left lane, we both looked each other and without hesitating squeezed our engines. This time he stayed just at my side as we both gain speed. Although I have a short shifter in my T56 every time I up-shift the guy in the bike would gain about 2-3 feets of advantage, until the point that he was just on front of my bumper. Until this day I dont know who was crazier, me or him, I mean if he would have lower his speed I would have roll over him, if he would have miss a shift I would still have roll over him. I dont know what got into the mind of that guy when he decided to put his bike on front of my car at over 160mph with just 5-6 feet between us!!. Just remebering that moment gives me the creeps!!!!

And on another shiny day I was again on the expressway when I spoted this shiny and beautifull brand new Mercedez Benz SL55 V8 Kompressor, yep the one equiped with the supercharged V8 with over 400hp. So I decided that it was time to feed the beast with some delightfull food such as a Benz
So I got close to the Benz and stared at the proud owner and smak the gas pedal a few times to get him into racing me. He bite the hook, cought me off guard and accelerated fast gaining a car lenght of advantage. I stayed behind him waiting to pass for some trafic that got into my lane as we both raced thru the expressway. I noticed that I was much faster than him because If I had kept the gas pedal down I would have hit him in the back, so as soon I got the chance I kept down the pedal, changed lanes and left the Benz parked in a cloud of blackish smoke (I like to run the car a little rich for protection). So that's how I feed up my GTA that day

I hope that everyones had enjoyed this stories, but please; KEEP IT SAFE!!!

wow! you are lucky there were no cops around.. not like their cars can go over 140 anyways but still youd be fried. remindes me of a time when my friend got into a race with a kawasaki ninja 1000 in his 2003 tiburon gtv6, after 135 he got pulled over and got arrested( he had 3 other people in the car). after they searched him and checked his wallet they discovered that he was the chief of police's son. so they let him go with a verbal warning. talk about lucky breaks.
