who would win?
OK here it is this guy that i work with has this 98 none WS6 T/A completely bone stock even though he claims it has all this work done i to it but he just bought so i checked it out and i know for a fact nothing is done. so one day just seeing what i could get out of him i asked if he wanted to race and he said yes but everytime when it comes down to it he wont i even told him that i would pay his way into the track and if he won then we can keep running but if i won he has to pay me back for my way and his! of course saounds fair right? ok and what i have done is a newly rebuilt 355 with fully ported heads 3 angle competition vavle job (dad owns a machine shop lucky me!) shorty heads with full 3 inch flowmaster exhaust ported intake, haynes 497/502 lift with 220/222 dur. with 112 lobe seperation, alum. drivershaft stock 3.27 9 bolt and one hell of a built trans. the last time a ran the car it ran 13.7@100mph. my best friend with the same car but drop top and a lot more mods says i have him all day long i would love to have it on paper plus for the bragging rights cause its always good to beat an LS1 if you can but the guy just wont do it. i think that it would be a good race but i think i have him. so tell me what you think thanks for the info sorry it was so long but wanted to give tou all the details. theres also a guy i work woth that has an 04 SSR but i know i have him but i want to race him just to see how it would do thanks again

well if your car runs a 13.7@100 i dont know...a ls1 car is a ls1 car....ws6 ss trans am z28 all run the same times. A4 and M6 is where the difference is. but ls1s can run anywhere from 12.8-13.6 at 110-103 mph...i dont know, if the guy can drive he might get u. honestly u need to be low 13s to high 12s to play with ls1's.

Well driving an auto car in a streight line is easy. Stomp the gas and the car does the rest. Like plagues said, you need to be running high 12's-low 13's to have a shot with the LS1's. Throw on a 100 shot and you'll get him!
