86 350 Camaro vs. 96 Audi A4 Quattro
Just wondering who would end up winning in the 1/8 and 1/4.
I understand the A4 has a 5 speed, AWD, and some lowering springs and a body kit (lol). I believe they came with 172hp stock, and not much if anything has been done to the engine. Sounds like an aftermarket exhaust though. Obviously, he'll get me off the line with that AWD.
I'm driving a 350 86 IROC-Z with a 3" dual dynamax (Y) exhaust w/ 5 speed. I just picked it up 2 weeks ago, not sure what the specs are on the engine other than a 4 barrel edel carb. The engine was a crate engine designed for a truck (4 bolt main), any ideas how much hp I might be putting out? I want to get it to a dyno before I do headers and all that jazz.

My 2003 A4 I believe had more power than the older style, and mine is also an AWD with a stick, and even with driving it hard I have only been running with mid 15 second cars. I would say you should be fine.

plasmeh,
You should have him. He might be able to keep close out of the dig but just keep workin the clutch and you'll put him away. His car is around 3361lbs so not so much less than your car. Just don't stall!! haha
