1996 integra vs 1992 camaro
My friend has a 1996 integra with cold air intake and a 5 speed tranny. im running a 1992 camaro RS auto stock. He wants to race me but i dont want to race unless im sure i can win. Im getting ready to drop in a new engine, so should i wait to race him after i drop in a 350? or do you guys think i can beat him with a stock 305?
Thanks!
Thanks!

not only does it depend on the car..it depends on the driver. so i think. if u kno how to drive ur maro to the fullest. u should have him. i might wait till after tho. just to be sure

is it a gsr or just a gs/ls? I ask cause a vtec motor driven hard is pretty quick. I had a $300 1.5 liter vtec civic winter beater that could keep up with my friends fox body when I drove it like I stole it.

Was his fox body a 4 cylinder?
I kid...haha.
Just race your friend's integra. Since you're friends, you can laugh about the outcome later. If you lose, do a rematch after the engine swap, if you win, help him build up his car (or direct him to the right path of owning a thirdgen) and rematch him. That's what I would do. Now if only I had a friend...that wants to race, haha.

Vtech isn't really anything to be afraid of, even if he has it.

GSR should be able to beat a stock auto tbi car pretty easily provided the guy can drive. Those are solid 15 sec cars.
An LS would probably be a good race though.
