I Hate ricers.....

coming back from waterside in Norfolk tonight I had the car set at 65mph. Don't need to get harassed buy the cops. well anyway I'm in the far right lane and I pass a riced out civic hatch back full of kids. I was doing 65 he was doing about 60. it's not like i blew past him or anything. well I pass him and he begins to speed up. I go cool, It's time to play!!! well I speed up and we get up to about 80-85. I'm just playing. I don't go for the all out kill right away. he passes me and cuts me off and lets his foot off the gas and starts slowing down... the messed up part his all the kids in the back seat start throwing me the finger!!!! what the heck did I do? I ran on his Butt for a while with my high beams on then floored it, got into the center lane, and blew his doors off.
what ever happened to a good clean race....
anyone have any of the same probs with the ricers?

thats pretty much the way all ricers are the best thing you can do is not even waste the gas. my ***** story is one day for fun i decided to race this guy i knew in a newer z24 from a stoplight i blew him away. the next intersection i get there a good 20 seconds before him the light is red whe i get there and it turns green right when he gets to it. He pulls the old flyby at about 80km/h so i say **** this slam my foot to the floor catch up to him pass him and put many car lenghts on him again. that was cool but later that day i heard i lost to a z24 twice stupid ricers. i had this other guy who has a 92 integra and he thinks its "da bomb" he wanted to race me because my car was automatic and his was stick and he said he could beat my slow auto piece of ****. When my brother told him i swapped in a t5 he backed down and refuses to race. ******* lock em all up rice sucks

Yep, that crap happens. I was going up to college over the summer, when I had 2:73s so cruising 80-85 was the avg. I passed an Eagle Talon with muffler, and interior neons, he was going like 70. Well, I see him speed up and ride beside me, so I just punched and passed him, that was enough for me, so he passes me slows down and gets right on my @ss. That crap pisses me off, so what I do is just hit the brakes so the lights come on, and he backed off.

I had a similar experience, its like whenever you pass thm or beat them they ride your butt or do something mean. Why can't they just accept that there cars are slow.

well please don't judge all import cars by the actions of a few punks. what i really hate are the ones with fake stickers, leds all over the place and mufflers with holes in them. but not all imports are bad

I don't think ALL ricers are punks. I had a good run with a new Celica a few weeks back. running hard and far at 120mph. it was pass and give, but no cutting anyone off (except other drivers)
it was fun, and he dropped back and quit when we hit the I-64 tunnel.

I too hate all ricers, but I like the nice imports, 3000GT VR-4, Supra TT, Stealth TT, RX7 Turbo, WRX Turbo, and nearly any other Turbo import, except the DSMs, I think they look too much like a chick car.

hey, if your car has rear body damage....and your slightly more than half crazy, wire in a brake light cutout switch. Most places, it's their *** if they rear end ya. Oh yeah, disclaimer, I don't condone doing the above, it's merely there for fun, , don't try this at home, yada yada yada!

well heavy chevy, as long as you say ricers, and not imports. its the immature punks that drill a hole in their muffler to sound loud and drive like they own the highway that give all imports a bad name. nothing against domestics, but i prefer the imports

My favorite was telling a 300zx(non turbo) I would give him $20 bucks if he could beat me. His friend said take his money and let's do it. Well a cop broke it up before we could race. Saw him the next day @ the track and said are u still up for it and I said yeah. Oh I beat him by about .7 or so!!
However I watched a Supra beat a low 12sec mustang on the street and it sounded like an F-14 passing by. And why shouldn't it, he was running 38 pounds of boost!!! :hail:

Come on now. Nic is cool too Nothing wrong with a mustang guy. I just like hanging out with real car guys. I'm in the A&M sports car club, and of the real gearheads and raers in the club, we're split 50/50 betwen domestic and import. Imports might actually have a slight edge in numbers. We all get along and make fun of ricers and automotive idiots. By automotive idiots, I don't mean people that don't know much but are trying to learn, but the dumbbutts that do stuff like pour oil in their radiator or talk about how their 71 firebird had a special 900 hp corvette engine in it and it jerked the tires so hard the frame twisted and the right front tire fell off when it slammed in to the ground. Stuff like that gets us rolling.

well you know I have heard of a rotary race car driver that puts a really thin oil in his rad and it helps him out with cooling

I wouldn't do it myself but I know that the wankel puts more stress on cooling then does your car and he was able to get away with it

still to this day no problems

kinda weird
but hey to each there own

i have nothing against fords or imports the only people that make me mad is the ones with small motors like a 3.1 bone stock and pull up to me and try and race me i mean come on you can hear it you can see mines not stock but still have to try and race me and the other ones i hate are the "ricers" that go out buy a import and put just a coffee can exhust on it and think they just gained 200HP oh well

yeah mean that greddy exhaust, altezza's, glow in the dark blue shift knob and peds, plus a type r sticker for my 74 maverick (250 inline 6) does not add up to 350hp or so

man maybe I need to get a powered by ford sticker to put on there and some neon underbody lights, plus the new combat body kit

Don't you know that if you do that to your Maverick, the first time you hit 88 miles per hour, you will disrupt the space time continuity and go back in time to 1955?

Yeah, ricers suck and must be stopped. To be honest, I had a 89 Nissan Maxima as a daily driver up until last week when I got rear ended. I am definitely getting another one as soon as I get some money. As far as imports go, there are a few exceptions. Maximas, especially the 92-94 SE 5-speeds, are actually pretty quick (15 flat in the quarter bone stock). Yeah I know, Maximas are FWD. Up here in NE, rear wheel drive is not too great in the winter. Most people have a FWD car or a 4WD truck that they drive while their nice car is hibernating for the winter. I drive the Maxima while I restore my 83 Z28. But even when I was driving the Maxima, every so often some visor wearing punk in a buzzbomber would throw me revs. I never lost to one of these ****boxes.

Just last night I overheard a group of kids talking about their 2000 Neon with a triple tier wing, some stupid wheels, Altezzas, and a crappy bodykit. I am a passive person until provoked, and they sure did provoke me. They were telling each other that they could roast any Camaro out there. I had to say something. I would have given anything to have my Camaro there! After sticking up for us Camaro owners, I was threatened. I was by myself, so I backed off.

What is wrong with these people? They put all sorts of non-functional crap on their cars, and when someone tells them that that triple pagoda wing that's hanging off the back of their car nothing but obstruct view, they try to get physical? And what the **** is with the names of the import performance companies? Tenzo? Weapon R? Battle Z? What ever happened to Edelbrock and Holley?

Sorry for the long post, but I had to get this off my chest.

Most ricers don't speak Japanese... so the names are simplified for us English-speaking folk.

The popular decal around here is Apex R Motorsports, the local shop for ricers. It's funny, the only time I see a Don's Hot Rod Shop decal (the domestic shop here) on a car is at the track, on a car that does 12 secs or better.

I dont think all ricers are punks in punk *** cars. I actually have respect for Subarus, Toyotas, Mazdas etc. The Punks are the guys in Hondas and Acuras. These are the guys who try and take family cars and hatchbacks and turn them into racecars. They think they are all bad *** which I guess they are if you consider a 16.5 sec quarter mile fast. All of their cars look the same and sound the same and even if you dont even see the car you know a ***** punk when you see one. My best ***** story took place about a year and a half ago. Back then I was driving a 86' Pontiac Fiero SE with the 2.8L V6. I spent $1600 on this car, dont get me wrong it was nice but not anything of value. This punk in a Civic pulls up to me one day and just starts revving and staring. The Civic was about the most dressed up car I have ever seen, the spoiler, decals everywhere, big exhaust, and bumpin sound not to mention the dumb *** pitbull he had with him. So I decide to race him, I had a car length on him before we even got through the intersection and continued to pull. I clearly whopped his *** put when we get to the next red light he is looking at me like he won the race. I guess thats just typical punk *** ***** behavior.

well there was a car in his lane and I didn't think he was going to try to squeeze his car in front of mine. from his view point I would have gotten into the left hand lane and floor it. that was what I was expecting him to do.
later

I have a lot of respect for you guys, you know your stuff. AND you respect imports. Thats pretty cool that you can respect imports being that you love domestics. I love imports but I respect domestics and wouldn't ever underestimate one. Thanks guys!

You know something, I wish I had a lot of extra money to blow, cause I would buy like a Geo Metro, put like 2 or 4 of those huge muffler on it, some GFX, some 16s for wheels ( not sure if much else would fit) and maybe like 2 aluminum wings stacked on top of each other. That would just be hilarious, and wait for the ***** in his riced out ride to laugh at me and tell him it's the same thing he did to his car.

Oh, or to give you guys a heart attack take a 3rd gen and do that to it.

Haha, this takes me back to the time when we found out that a Honda V6 will fit in to the engine bay on a Geo Metro. of course, that assumes that you bolt the wheels directly to the transaxle, cause there's no room for suspension.

A more likely candidate would be the Dodge Neon I4. Let's see now, 150 Hp, in a car that weighs just under 2000 lbs. With a 5 speed, it'd be pretty quick, with a shot of N20, it would be absolutely silly.

Ah, much cooler than the usual stupid BS. Different than the regular import, not a sports/musclecar, but definetly better than those morons with the stickers that give HP. What appearance () and performance mods?? Any times??
