Difference in TPI Runners?

Been lookin' at High-Flo Runners and have noticed something..

When looking up part numbers for them, I've come across 2 different sets.. one set for '85-'88 and another for '89-92..

Any reason for this? I would have assumed they'd be the same for all years..

That's it yeah the presence of a coldstart injector
(extra little runner to an extra little injector - so cute)

FYI - you can use the set with a cold start injector, becase very little modification is needed to make it work for 89-92's.

if your planning on doing more in the future, it'd be a good thing to buy

You must get the set that was desinged w/ your plenum. The early style runners had the cold start injector provisions, but also had the idle circuit routed differently. If you put new style runners on an older plenum, IT WILL NOT IDLE!!!! (ask me how I know). The older runners used the extra tube on the drives side as the idle circuit, whereas the newer runners are delete the tube on the drivers side. Get the runners that match your plenum.
