What would you do?

OK guys, assuming I have the $$$ to finish the fuel system this year, I have a TPI 305 that is going into my Chevelle this summer. My dillemma is this: I would like to see 300-320 HP from this 305 in the long haul as time and money permit. I know for a fact that headers are a very good upgrade to most (if not all) TPI motors. The thought of buying headers was almost a reality as of last year, when I was given a set of Ram's Horn exhaust manifolds for free. Now I am thinking about just drilling them for the O2 sensor and calling it good (not a whole lot of emissions concerns in Michigan...yet). Would you guys keep the Ram's Horn manifolds or would you buy the headers? These are the smaller ones (2.25 inches I think??? Not sure.) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

If I were you I would get a 350 to put in first. If you are going to stay with the 305. Put in a better cam while you have it out and use the Ram's Horns manifolds until you can get headers.
