msd part #'s - cap, rotor & wires for my app.
don't kill me folks, i did a search and came up with too many diff. #'s.
i need the part #'s for the basic MSD cap, rotor and plug wires.
plan on having edel. headers in the future so if i need str8 or universal wires or something keep that in mind and please let me know what #'s for my 89/5.7.
thanks so much!

121-3183-9 wires 8.5 superconductor
121-8426 cap with external coil
121-8427 rotor for small cap with external mount coil
that should set you up if you have the external mount coil like me
btw...those wires are all 90 degree boots, but they will work with edel headers.

The numbers that I posted are different from bubbz89 because I used the numbers for the individual parts from MSD. The numbers that bubbz89 used are the numbers from JEGS. Either one will work but if you want to get them from somewhere other than Jegs you may want to use the numbers that I gave you and do a search with them at other sites. I recommend summit racing. There prices were a little better. You pay shipping at Jegs. When I bought them from Summit the shipping was free.

Bubbz are the correct numbers for his application. Jf's are for the HEI Coil in Cap Distributer.

I would go with the universal 31229 since you have a 5.7L. I believe the only difference is the length. The ones for the 305 are a little shorter.
