somebody lend a hand please...... PLEASE
Ok here's the deal: My '91 L98 spun the rod bearings. In order to save time, I got my hands on a rebuilt 350, the older 2 piece rear main seal style, and a 4 bolt main. The engine itself has a few minor mods, being overbored and a bit more aggressive cam than stock. I also took the time to install an '89 corvette TPI intake, siamese ported and polished (courtesy CEcoatings.com), and some siamese ported SLP runners and plenum, again from Cecoatings.com. On to the (not so) fun part. I have the engine in the car, everything hooked up, and it will not start. The engine will crank fine, but there is NO spark or fuel to the system. I have verified power to the ECM, power to the ignition coil, and proper ignition timing, but there is no spark coming out of the coil and no pulse out of the injectors. The SES light gave me a code 46, a VATS code and it's telling me to look at CKT 229.....? Could anyone shed some light on this situation because I'm stuck with a car that won't start.... thanks.
