Help with crane gold extruded rr!!!!

I have a set of gold extruded aluminum 1.6 roller rockers from crane and I had them installed and running on my car. But when my lifters werent passing oil I took it in to fix that problem and now they say they need the instructions to adjust the rockers. I remember there being instructions but I no longer have them. We have adjusted them every way in the book and nothing will keep the car idling. Can anyone give me the instructions for those particular rockers?????

There is no difference in their adjustment. If it is a hydraulic cam, go to zero lash + 1/2 turn. Zero lash is obtained by making sure the lifter is on the base circle of the cam (valve closed with the lifter not on the ramp) and turning the pushrod between your fingers, when you feel it start to drag a little that is zero lash. Some people think that it is when you can't turn the pushrod between your fingers at all, but that is way too tight. Just a little drag + 1/2 turn and move on to the next valve! Turn the engine until that valve is on the base circle and repeat the process. Do this for all 16. If you want to do it with the car running, back each one off until it starts ticking and then tighten it up until the ticking goes away and add another 1/2 turn. A solid cam is the same as far as the base circle, but you tighten it up to the specified valve clearance (often .022 and .024) on aftermarket cams. This should be a go/no-go setting. For example when setting the exhaust valve, tighten it until a .024 feeler gauge will fit and a .023 is too loose and a .025 will not fit. That is the proper setting. Now move on to the next valve. Let me know if you have other questions.
