fuel injector questions
I just got some injectors, 2 of the pintle caps are busted, 1 is gone completely, the other is cracked and missing a piece. Will this cause problems?
Also the part number is 5235047. Any info you can give me on that?
Thanks,
Matt

Yes. You should be able to get replacement parts though.

Would auto part stores like autozone or pepboys carry the caps?
Thanks,
Matt

Couldn't say for sure. It's worth a shot. These stores are carrying more and more EFI stuff every day. You may get lucky and find a HELP! package of them. The injectors are standard Bosch style, and were used on a lot of different car, so the parts should all be pretty much universal.
