SLP headers+AFR angle heads+ plugs=no good
My plugs are so close to my headers that I cant even put the wires on them. I had straight angle heads and they where fine. now I buy afr heads with the L98 style plugs and now I this problem. Does NGK offer a shorty plug with any platnium on it. I am running nitrous thats why. I DO NOT want Accell shorty plugs. They suck. Anyone got any ideas for me

sounds to me like you dident get the l98 angle afr's mine fit exactly the same as stockers and have no clearance issues

p.s search and see that the l98 angle should be the same fit as stock

I made sure I did get them and I confirmed it with AFR. I have the stock cast iron heads that came on the crate engine the plugs come directly straight out from the head. there is NO angle on those. The AFR's have the angles. the other 2 both angle inward and the inner 2 angle outward

well all i know is i've had 3 sets of afr heads and 2 sets of slp's and as long as i've ordered l98 angle heads there have been no fitment problems.now i've herd that the angle plug version afr's have issues with slp's.note that afr sells two angle heads the standerd angle and the l98 angle.
sorry you are having issues, mine were and are awesome heads
